Habitat for Humanity Empowers Home Ownership for All

CFWC Orange District's first council meeting of the season on Friday Sept. 9 featured Habitat for Humanity Orange County Executive Director Monique Davis (left in photo), talking about the work Habitat does building or repairing homes to make the dream of home ownership a reality for low and middle income people. Supporting Habitat for Humanity is Orange District president Sandy Tessier's pet project. (That's Sandy, who is a member of Rossmoor Woman's Club, on the right.) Besides Sandy, 11 members of the Rossmoor Woman's Club attended the meeting.
