Rossmoor Woman's Club donates to St. Isidore Historic Plaza

Rossmoor Woman's Club President Susan Denley and Treasurer Lorena Bartlett played Santa on Monday, delivering checks to four Los Alamitos-based non-profits. First up, we visited St. Isidore Historic Plaza and gave board member Marilyn Poe a check for $1,000. The cash is part of more than $37,000 the club raised and donated to local charities and student scholarships in fiscal 2024-2025. St. Isidore, a former Catholic Church, dates from 1921. The Historic Plaza Association is dedicated to preserving it and now operates it as a community meeting space.
